The Holy Monastery of the Assumption of the Virgin is a unique monastery situated in the city of Metsovo, built in 1754.
It includes two-storied cells, hospices, paved courtyards in levels, splendid murals, temple and icons from the 17th century and its belfry which is wooden from the medium and above. They say that its bell was manufactured in Ioannina in 1870.
